Do I need a psychology degree?
No. While a background in psychology or counselling is a bonus, it's not required. We look for natural empathy, patience, and the ability to hold space. We provide full training before your first session.
How much can I realistically earn?
At 10 hours per week, you can earn ₹6,000–12,000/month. At 20 hours, ₹12,000–24,000. Top-rated Buddies with consistent rebook rates earn up to ₹40,000/month.
Will I hear very heavy or disturbing things?
Most sessions are about everyday loneliness, work stress, relationship issues, and things people can't share with family. Our training includes crisis awareness and escalation protocols. If a session goes beyond non-clinical listening, we have a safety net in place.
Is my identity shared with users?
Users only see your first name and your rating. Your phone number, location, and full identity are never shared. You can also use avatar mode for maximum anonymity.
When do I get paid?
Payments are processed weekly to your bank account. You earn 70% of the session price (₹150–300 per hour depending on your rating tier).
